The Martha’s Vineyard Times held an interview with Capt. Martin Bayerle and his son, Grant Bayerle, regarding the launch at the Old Whaling Church and some details about the book.  The article, titled “A billion dollar treasure: the answer is waiting in Nantucket Sound” does a nice job of highlighting some tidbits both from the research on Republic and Capt. Bayerle’s personal story.
